Sharda Public School was founded in 1989 by Mrs, Sharda Singh in loving memory of her father Late Shri Lakshman Singh, an educationist of great repute The school got the Affiliation from The Uttarakhand Board. in 1990.

The school has been growing steadily year after year imparting quality education to its pupils. The strength of the school has grown from 20 students in 1989 to over 900 students in 2010 The school management is providing better facilities to its students and school staff every year.
